At the time when I was in Junior High School, I had visited the historic place of Jawi temple. The location of Jawi temple is in Prigen, Pasuruan, East Java. Jawi temple is one of the temples located in Pasuruan. According the history, Jawi temple is a temple built around the 13 th century and is a historic relic of Hindu-Buddhist Kingdom Singhasari located at the foot of Mount Welirang, precisely in the village Temple Wates, Prigen District, Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia, about 31km from the city of Pasuruan. Jawi temple is widely thought of as a place of worship or a place of Buddhist worship, but is actually a place of sabharmaan of storage of ash from the las king of Singhasari, Kertanegara.
